On my WinXP FC8 dual boot laptop, I had my wifi working
after following installing the code as indicated on this
newsgroup. Now it no longer works with FC8, while it
continues to work with WinXP on the same box.
Suggestions would be most appreciated. For these tests,
I have encryption off. Here is some data:

The problem may be solved. Watching the packets, I noticed
a DHCP nak. I therefore tried with a statically assigned
address, and it worked. Then I went back to DHCP, and
additionally filled in "Hostname (optional):". It worked
again. The hostname may not really be optional for DHCP.
To test this, I tried to empty the field, but every time I
remove the name, it puts it back.
