Hi!
So everything was working well until maybe 4-5 days ago. Now I am systematically getting a SSL certificate error regardless of the captive portal I go to, and thus blocking me from identifying and using the internet on that connection. Any idea what this could be and how to "clean it up" to go back to the working mode ;-)
I am on F23 at the moment.
Thank you.

Hi again!
I can see my problem is not affecting a lot of people. I wanted to correct the post and mention the exact error message as "Unacceptable TLS certificate"
Does this help?
Thanks.

You dont say which browser you use, and Fedora flavor. For instance, on Fedora XFCE, the default browser is Midori. On more vanila Fedora versions, its usually Firefox

The thing is it is not coming from the browser. Network manager has a component which handle that "captive portal page". So my browser is not launched at all. Basically when the computer connects to the wifi network Network Manager launched a "browser like" application and display the captive portal page. I have found some bugs affecting that part which are 6+ months old but do not help me with my problem.
Bug I am talking about is: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1252839
Thank you.
And I am using GNOME as a DE.
