I just tried and it seems to be able to do so. You have to toggle
the
small button on the right of the add picture box. That applies the
image to all selected files. (Ahh, the intuitiveness of some GUIs. :)
Arghh, it never used to work even with the toggle (I know about that) but
I should have tried in now before I assumed it still didn't work! I am
trying to get away from using my Windows box for some tasks and although
I can use the cmdline, a feature rich gui like Tag&Rename is hard to beat.
I don't use easytag much anymore, as eyeD3 from the command line
(or
in python scripts) works pretty well. For example, to add an image to
a number of mp3 files:
eyeD3 --add-image /path/to/image.jpg:FRONT_COVER *.mp3
(FRONT_COVER is the image type. ID3 APIC frames have a number of
different types. You can view them with "eyeD3 --list-image-types".)
I'll keep this in mind though!
