thanks, I had googled and found that, but I was also a little...afraid.. of doing that,
for obvious reasons. I thought about
removing the 64-bit version, but I'm sure there are apps that require it also..

Personally, I try to not mix 32bit and 64bit on the same box. If I want to run
something in 32bit then I either have a 2nd machine
or a VM that's a 32bit build, but that's me. It avoids these kinds of issues.
