This whole question reminds me of something that I heard about years
ago, that might amuse the list:
A company hired a pair of DBAs for development, one of whom claimed to
be a Unix expert. The pair kept complaining that their central database
file kept vanishing, forcing them to waste time rebuilding it every few
days. The sysadmin was quite amused to find out why: they'd named it core.
