Yes I missed it....
So what is the future? No language pack, no more extension, maybe only
google sites will be allowed?
Oh, don't panic. If you enable the "studies" option, per the instructions
here:

the next time Mozilla checks with the mothership, you'll get a fix pushed
down to you. It can take up to half a day before your Firefox pings the
mothership, and pulls down this fix. In my case it was about 4 hours after I
enabled it.
There's also a config setting that can be flipped to turn off all signature
verifications. It's risky because you can easily forget to turn that off. I
initially went that wrong, but changed my mind. I don't trust myself to
remember it, so I enabled that Firefox's built-in spyware option. If I
forget to turn it off, once a permanent Firefox update comes out, that's not
the worst thing in the world.
As far as I can tell, on Android the only option on Firefox is to turn this
off in about:config.
