Tell us more about this "ipp printer" of yours. Does it stand alone on
your network? Or does it attach to another computer on your network
that must share it?
I had no end of problems using a shared printer, before finally I
installed a printer that stood alone on the network. Many times the
sharing computer would lose the job.
I have used both standalone and shared (by
windows or linux) without any
problems.
When using a shared printer, I just had to make sure that the user
sending the print
job was authorized on the printer server.
