Sendmail using several MTAs question
Hello people
I'm trying to configure my sendmail to relay my mail to different MTAs based
on the email adress:
If User1(a)home.com ->send to MTA 10.10.10.1
If User2(a)home.com ->send to MTA 10.10.10.2
I've read about this and it seens that it should be enough to change my
mailertable to:
User1(a)home.com User1(a)[10.10.10.1]
User2(a)home.com User2(a)[10.10.10.2]
That didn't worked. I've tried changin the virtusertable but that also
didn't worked.
It can't work! This is because mailertable acts on basis of the
recipient address and virtusertable is for the different direction: for
incoming mail.
You either need to make use of the Smart Table
http://anfi.homeunix.net/sendmail/smarttab.html
or as an alternate the sender based routing hack
http://www.cs.niu.edu/~rickert/cf/hack/sender_based_routing.m4
I also want to relay all mail except the above to 10.10.10.3:
@home.com %1(a)[10.10.3]
Using the Smart Table.
Anyone has ideias about this?
Paulo Sergio
