If you're happy with the program, is it really a big deal to close it
before logging out? Firefox will also block logout under certain
conditions, so I suspect there is some other messaging involved. I
doubt that systemd has anything to do with logging out, it's for events
like suspend and shutdown.
It's an annoyance rather than a showstopper, especially as it appears
to be new (and undocumented) behaviour.
