You want a router, not a bridge. You're trying to
use your two-interface
system as a firewall, right?
yes I yhink its that I want a router. But not a
firewall. I just want to forward packets form an
interface to the other but I want that the interfaces
have both an IP.
Many people recommend shorewall for this.
I personally use the
projectfiles.com firewall for
this, and am very
happy with it.
