Are there any plans yet with regards to migration from Python 2 to Python 3. Will it be done as soon as possible or will it be deferred until it is well established?

Rawhide is moving to Python 2.6 which is intended, in part to make the transition to Python 3 more easier but it seems that the actual move would be deferred until we have a compelling reason. Paul W Frields has posted the link if you want to read through the entire thread.
