And then there is the long time favorite: Midnight Commander (or mc, as
its called). Takes me back to PCTools from DOS days.
Also, emelfm2, gentoo may do this. Haven't used any of them -- they
seem pretty ugly to me, and will most likely never...pcmanfm is good
enough for me if I need to stray from command-line options...
