Has anyone run across an issue where their wireless with F28 cannot associate and get an
IP from certain Access Points? I ran across the same behaviour reported in the following
bug yesterday when trying to use the wifi connection in a vacation rental:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1599036
Wifi does not work on home connection with Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 with F28
System logs indicate that the wifi device is authentiacting, then for some reason the
connection gets dropped by the AP:

In my testing, I can associate with the router in my vacation rental if I disable
encryption. But as soon as I re-enable ANY type of wpa security, I am no longer able to
keep a connection and these same errors pop up in the logs again. Like the reporter of the
bug, I am able to start up a hotspot on my android phone with wpa encryption, and I can
succesfully connect to it. Could the Access Point itself be doing something
'weird' in the way that it enables WPA encryption?
I have not tried testing with WEP encryption yet.
Thanks!
