No. What you need to install at least is:
iiimf-server
iiimf-protocol-lib
iiimf-client-lib
iiimf-csconv
iiimf-x
iiimf-gtk
xinitrc(if you haven't installed new one yet)
And, for the languages which you want to use:
iiimf-le-canna: for Japanese
iiimf-le-hangul: for Korean
iiimf-le-inpinyin: for Simplified Chinese(it will be
replaced by iiimf-le-chinput in FC3, though)
iiimf-le-xcin: Traditional Chinese
iiimf-le-unit: for others
