I don't know what pilot error is supposed to mean but if it means misuse of OOwrite I disagree. In MS word if you go to printer setup under File and click on Landscape the document becomes Landscape. If openoffice is supposed to mirror MS behavior it should have the same functionality. I am glad to know that Landscape printing is possible but not by the method that should work. That is a bug in my book.
