Hi,
Will yum of Fedora 9 come with the new release 2.4 of Openoffice?
I'm still with Fedora 7 and continuously suppressing Openoffice yum upgrades, as it wants to upgrade to version 2.3, which has nasty bugs (that's why 2.3.1 came out quickly after, but that is not in the yum repository).
I hope to upgrade to Fedora 9, but also would like to see this Openoffice being fixed.
Thanks, Rob.

Yeah, I plan on jumping from F7 to F9. OpenOffice does some strange things, like preserving the first ten of the documents opened, in "recent documents" and not updating with the really recent. I keep seeing the same old documents listed. Strange. I'd like to get 2.3.1 as well. Ric

I can't say I've noticed what OpenOffice.org does, in that regards. I use it too infrequently, and across different computers on the LAN.
But I have noticed how the "recent documents" menu item on the Gnome desktop usually doesn't list many things which have been recently opened, many of which are NOT "documents".
