ffmpeg and transcode both work. Also avidemux. You need to enable the
rpmfusion-free repo.
I've used all 3 but the interface Handbrake provides is hard to beat,
especially when you want to transcode videos that will work for specific
devices. I use one profile for my phone, one for the wife's phone, one for
the tablet, etc. because they don't all support the same x264 profile or
other settings.
