Does yours return correct values, there? Mine returns bogus ones:
Videocard DDC probe results
Description: Intel Corporation i810 Graphics Controller
Memory (MB): 1
Monitor DDC probe results
ID: API010d
Width (mm): 280
Height(mm): 210
My screen dimensions are 32 by 24 cm, and I'm certain it had more than
one meg of RAM.
Hi Tim:
Yes, those are the correct size numbers for this RealSynch LCD.
lspci -v returns...
01:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 AR [Radeon 9600]
(Secondary)
Subsystem: Giga-byte Technology: Unknown device 4045
Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 64
Memory at c0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
Memory at feae0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
I believe that [size=256M] is correct and not the 16 megs reported by
ddcprobe, the difference, there, is still a mystery to me.
