It used to be an option in the gnome Tweaks tool, under "top bar". This
seems to be gone in Fedora 36. You can get use this shell command:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface show-battery-percentage true
This seems like useful functionality.
- why not make it the default?
- why remove it from tweaks?
- why make it so hard to discover?
They actually made it *easier*. It's not in tweaks because it's in the
power settings of the control center.
