Someone on the fedoraforum did an FC4 startpage. (See http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=60978)
I did an FC3 version with the FC3 release notes at
- start page http://members.lycos.co.uk/bubudiu/start/
- files (start.tar.gz) http://members.lycos.co.uk/bubudiu/start.tar.gz
Anyone know of similar efforts/improvements? Anyone have a good fedora related bookmark?

Catch me at http://members.lycos.co.uk/bubudiu/ Ah the beauty of it all!
Cheers Captain Bubudiu

This is valuable effort. Would be nice if you can drop in a mail to the fedora-docs list to brainstorm ideas on improving the current default home page regards Rahul

I like the fc4 start page there - but would suggest that the fc4 release notes (with a file:/// url) should be there and easy to find.
For an official start page, maybe the release notes could replace the link to the unofficial FAQ? (no offense, but it is unofficial - and while I can't name anything at the moment, I've seen what I think is bad advice there in the past)
The wiki should also be linked on an official start page.
I'll subscribe to fedoradocs to discuss if it is happening there (though my web design skillz are rather, um - well, I mostly use the left side of my brain ... ;)

I didn't like the Fc4 version for the following reasons:- - use of the shadowman logo (Not really Fedora's) - FC4 (I've got FC3) - Graphics not profesionally put together - The blue background is horrendous
Did you check out the FC3 version?
I've posted to the Fedora-docs-list, so tomorrow when most of the guys see it the discussion should be rolloing.
