websites using java applets are crap
they where 10 years ago, ando they are now more than ever
2. that redhat devs working on Icedtea are incompetent
no - java applets are crap by design
redhat is not responsible for that
3. that there is some fundamental flaw in the way icedtea-web is
designed and makes it experience more holes that other pieces of
software (ie Microsoft´s own IE that had a 0day exploit open for
weeks)
jesus JAVA IN A WEBBROWSER as applet was always and will always
be crap at all, if a webiste requires it -> do not use it, finish
4. that you are unable to distinguish real news reports from FUD
against the Java platform
java apples have NOTHING TO DO with the java platform

nobody needs java applets
anybody who requries java applets on his website is an idiot
this was 10 years ago teh same as now and in the future
