On my system I have to start Blender using
'LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1
blender'. Otherwise it's impossible to work in it. I set up an alias
in .bashrc and it works well from command line. However if I start
Blender from Application->Graphic->Blender the alias doesn't work. I
thought menu entries in Gnome are using the same commands as if I've
typed them manually in terminal. Am I wrong here?
I have not found a menu editor in Fedora for a while so I install alacarte.
You can then either do
alt-f2, alacarte
or
System > Preferences > Main Menu
