Just another wlan ipw2200 problem again.
I use FC3 and have an Acer Travelmate 4000 with centrino.
To use the wlan i downloaded all needed files and followed every step
(by step) in the INSTALL file.
There are rpms for driver and firmware:
http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/ipw2200/
http://atrpms.net/dist/common/ipw2200-firmware/
If you have ATrpms enabled, all you need to do is
apt-get install kernel-module-ipw2200-`uname -r` ipw2200
and write a ifcfg-ethN confiog file (perhaps some system-config-* can
already do that for you after installing the driver).
First, i have to load the driver manually with ./load witch outputs
this
error ....
( if i dont load them, eth1 is not displayed )
[root@xr-mobile ipw2200-0.13]# ./load

I´m a linux beginner, so i was very happy that the wireless tools are
already available via yum - dont even think about kernel configuration ;-)
Any ideas ?
Hope i dont spam around with this problem.
