Hey all,
I have gotten quite a few requests to change the panel menu icon (a red
fedora), and have been several examples sent to me via email. For the
time being, there is no reason to change it (and therefore no real
reason to discuss it with many long threads or emails sent directly to me).
I do, however, really appreciate everyone's fervor and effort in wanting
to improve the desktop and willingness to contribute. (:
BTW: If you are interested in talking about other desktop-related
issues (user interface, artwork, default preferences, etc.), then
fedora-desktop-list is the place for you! You can sign up at:

After looking over the mail from November and December, it appears that
the list has been focusing on graphics. Where does the gnome menu
editing issue belong. It keeps coming up. On this list numerous times
as well as the test-list. (yes I know that people have published work
arounds, but a fix is what is really needed.)
