The question is:
WHY ifcfg-p48p1 is missing from /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts ?
The Network GUI Tool shows p48p1 interface correctly and manages it.
What do I miss?
I don't find anything useful in the docs

Searching for p48p1 I get
/var/lib/NetworkManager/dhclient-p48p1.conf in /.readahead
but it is not present in
[root@s220 NetworkManager]# pwd
/var/lib/NetworkManager

So the question is how is it supposed to manually set up p48p1 without
NetworkManager (I want to use only nano)?
I don't find anything else related to p48p1 in my box.
This box is a workstation but is it a legitimate question for servers?
