Hi Mitch,
Thanks for the response.

You should save the file to disk and then run "identify" on
it.
Thus:
$ identify p*
picture-1G.png[2] PNG 19000x19000+0+0 PseudoClass 1c 8-bit 43.0kb 10.220u 0:12
Nice command eheh. Here is the result:
$ identify snapshot.jpg
snapshot.jpg JPEG 2036x676+0+0 DirectClass 8-bit 119.5kb 0.000u 0:01
Which seems to render ~11MB. I think my system can handle it...
You can see that 19000x19000+0+0 expands to a massive array. It
gets
so big that nautilus exits on me while generating a thumbnail.
Well, it exits.. does not hang :)
I have observed SELinux issues with the nVidia installer so consider
turning it off in /etc/system/selinux set SELINUX=permissive or
disabled.
It is disabled by default in FC2.
What I fail to understand is why it crashes only with mozilla/gecko-based
browsers. It won't with Konqueror..
I still haven't had the time to generate a new unsensitive JPEG. Would
you mind test it, if I get another?
