you can just do an rpm -qVa to validate everything, and an rpm -qf [filename] to see what package it belongs to...
have you re-run prelink and then your test right afterwards?

Hi, all,
From time to time I run "for i in `rpm -qa`; do echo ${i} && rpm --verify ${i}; done" loop to check the consistency and data integerity of all rpms I installed. But on my Fedora Core 1 box I got lots of the following output, the size of files changed, How to deal with it? Thanks.
.......... gnome-libs-1.4.1.2.90-36 prelink: /usr/bin/gnome_segv: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking S.?..... /usr/bin/gnome_segv prelink: /usr/bin/goad-browser: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking S.?..... /usr/bin/goad-browser prelink: /usr/bin/loadshlib: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking S.?..... /usr/bin/loadshlib prelink: /usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.32.14.1: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking S.?..... /usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.32.14.1 prelink: /usr/lib/libgtkxmhtml.so.1.0.1: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking S.?..... /usr/lib/libgtkxmhtml.so.1.0.1 XFree86-xdm-4.3.0-55 ......
