Has anyone repaired the specfile that comes with php-4.3.10-3.2.src.rpm? I really don't like butting my head against something describing itself as "This is not a real PHP package. It's a bogus!"
Thanks, -richard
never mind....wrong src rpm...please ignore.

Does anybody have any idea where to find a good src.rpm for mcrypt that I can use with PHP-4.3.10 on FC3? I need src because I need to install it with Apache 1.3 (I've rebuilt php after removing an httpd-mmn requirement from php.spec).
Thanks, -richard

Also available in a yum repo here:
http://dries.ulyssis.org/apt/packages/libmcrypt/info.html
To the left on that page is Yum configuration hints in order for you to use the yum program to download this app, set it up, resolve dependencies and install it correctly.
Good luck and don't top post please it makes people here very, very crabby.

Thanks for the tips and advice. I've gotten the impression that mcrypt is available w/in the PHP src.rpm, if I edit the php.spec file and add "--with-mcrypt". I have a few questions about this:
1) is "--disable-posix-threads" still recommended/required? 2) am I required to say "--with-mcrypt=shared", "--with-mcrypt=%{prefix}", or both?
