Problem: cannot install the best candidate for the job
- nothing provides python3.8dist(python-magic) needed by
lutris-0.5.8-1.fc32.x86_64
(try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or
'--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages)
What could I do to help? I am happy to volunteer some time but I
don't know who or how.
Maybe an issue with the sequence numbering of the downgraded
package. Perhaps it should have bumped the epoch number? You can go
here to get the downgraded package rpm for your architecture.
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1660595
The notes on that page state that it is being downgraded until upstream
fixes the issue. Then install it using
dnf -C downgrade [lutris-0.5.7.1-4.fc32.x86_64.rpm]
where the package name is for x86_64 in the sample, but should use
your system architecture. I used downgrade instead of update because
the version appears to be below the version already installed on your
system.
