Not sure what you mean. First, there's a whole network of mirrors, so
"the mirror" is pretty meaningless. Second, most of the mirrors carry
both primary architectures, so there shouldn't be much difference
between the two. Also, without knowing what problem you are seeing
(slow downloads? timeouts? connection errors?), it is difficult to
diagnose anything.
I know my mirror is not particularly busy right now.

installs are very slow. But right now they
are not.
