Roger,
The last time I had these messages it was for a drive that surely failed
quite rapidly....how old is your hard disk.
You might want to consider replacing it.

The hard drive is a brand new Maxtor 80G infact the machine runs with
two 80G hard drives. Someone
had suggested upgrading the Kernel, of which i did on Saturday but then
Exim got installed accidentally
and was fighting for resources with Qmail, which i find odd because the
machine is supposed to bigger
in capacity with 1G memory and a 64 bit processor.
I will continue monitoring it on a daily basis but i am considering
changing the hard drive because what
happens is that the machine can go on for 7 days without a problem, then
the hard drive just starts to die
an it dies rapidly infact it locks, i.e as in you can still read what is
on it, but since it is a mail server, it rejects
all the mail.

Roger
