If you have access to any system running Windows:
EaseUS Partition Manager (Free Home Edition).
Point and click freeware, just like the good old Partition Magic

Supports ext2, ext3, does NOT support ext4 or other Linux FS

Don't have Windows here. Also, old disk had XFS on all but root partition.
Anyway, had lots of problems with the data so I re-installed Fedora (I
was able to get almost all that was in the /home directory).
