SSh, Apache implementation
by Franck Y
Fellows members,
I 'll try to explain my problem clearly.
I have two computer.
The first one is called : titanic
The second one: databse
Database has some files/folders who are located in /home/documents.
Apache is not installed one this one but Samba is and it's working properly.
Titanic as apache installed and running.
What i want is when one one my client will connect to titanic it's
show the folder /home/documents in databse . And the client will be
able to browse the folder and dowload the file if he want to. But i
don't want apache runnig on atabse due to security reason...
Do you have any idea how i can implement this thing ?
Thank you

RE: YAYP - Yet Another Yum Problem

I have been reading through the http://rpmforge.net web pages and
trying to work out the relationship between the Dag and rpmforge
repositories. Is there overlap between the two?
The list of rpms at http://rpmforge.net/user/packages/rpmforge-release/
which can be used to activate the rpmforge repository under yum and other
update tools references both Dag and Dries, so there must be some connection.
Is there merit in having both the Dag and rpmforge repositories active at
the same time?
If there is a explanation of this which I have not yet stumbled across,
please point me in the right direction.

LVM and Quota for multiple volumes?
by Lonnie Cumberland
Greetings All,
I have a Fedora install that has the /dev/hda drive mounted into a LVM
volume.
Currently, my system which has 2 physical drives was set up with 1
physical drive /dev/hda and thus has 1 logical volume. We then added the
second drive which is /dev/hdc which we only want to have Quota on this
drive (/dev/hdc2) and make it a separate Logical Volume, bt I do not
know how to do this.
The final setup is to have 2 volumes in the LVM such that 1 (the root
filesystem) does not have Quota and the other drives in the second
volume will have Quota running on them. We can then add more drives to
the second volume as we need more user drive space.
I have read over the LVM How To but it does not seem to talk about
having Quota's on a volume.
Can someone please help to guide me through this process?
Thanks,
Lonnie C.
