I have a server updated to FC6 from FC6. I am trying to add X to it but am having problems. The server is a SuperMicro p8sct with Intel video. When I try to start X, I get: GARTInit: Unable to open /dev/agpgard (no such device) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable
I used mknod to make the device: mknod /dev/agpgart c 10 175
I have also made sure that the i810 module is loaded.
The system-config-display program works and starts X. It recognizes the intel card and my LCD monitor so at least that much is working. Could I need to install another package, module, or something?

Usually that means that your motherboard's AGP is not supported.
Installed a bunch of packages and it now works. That error is ignored but apparently I didn't have a window manager loaded (yum install twm -- and it worked).
