Hi all,
In FC2 I had it setup that I could ssh to my office site (FC2 machine at home on DSL to Redhat 9 mail server at work) then run rdesktop to access a Windoze server(not directly accessible to the outside).
Since I moved to FC3 I get the error "unable to open display" when I attempt to run rdesktop through my ssh tunnel. I tried using rdesktop versions 1.2.0 and 1.3.1 but get the same error.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

Did you read the FC3 release notes for OpenSSH changes?

BTW: rdesktop 1.3.1 appears to work with 'ssh -X' for me. But my normal usage it not to do remote display of rdesktop - but run it locally - and forward the connection via ssh. i.e
on FC3: ssh rhl9-box -L23389:windows-box:3389 again on FC3: rdesktop localhost:23389

Hi
ssh -X -Y remoteHost
and then if you run 'rdesktop windowsMachine' once you are on the rh9 machine - you should get your gui :)
