Hi;
Yum returns that before I can upgrade Xine I need Xine-lib=1.1.5 as a dependency. I have never seen anything written as Xine-lib=1.1.5 (with the = sign) before.
It is the typical notation for "equal to" and is used in thousands of packages. Instead of "=" it can also be ">=", "<=", ">" and "<", for example. Here, a package "xine" with exactly version "1.1.5" is needed, so xine-lib-1.1.5.

However imaginatively write a yum install command using Xine-lib=1.1.5, with and without the livna repo, I can get no joy from yum.
It is a Fedora Extras package, which is at 1.1.6 already.
Now what do I do?
What repositories do you use? Which package requires this old version of xine-lib?
Well for me it the following: Processing Dependency: xine-lib = 1.1.5 for package: xine-lib-moles
I know that there is a lag time waiting for it to become available from Livna
To upgrade other items do
yum --exclude=xine* upgrade
otherwise wait.
