Just an idle thought here: Is the next fedora disaster already pre-programmed? When updates finally appear again, will all the fedora users in the universe crash the mirrors by trying to download a huge backlog of updates all at once?
Just something to think about :-).
The whole point of having this many mirrors is so that the horde-generated traffic will not bring down the servers. This won't be any worse than a new version day. In fact, it will affect the servers even less, because not everyone will know exactly when the updates will appear (not to mention a fairly large percentage of people who will err on the side of caution and not update for a few days/weeks until they hear all-clear reports from the early updaters)
