bodhi comment becomes anonymous
by mike cloaked
I put a comment in to bodhi after testing a package - and despite putting in my
email address the comment was listed as anonymous - has something changed in the
way that comment entry now occurs?

sizes of yum metadata files
by Michal Jaegermann
These files used to show up compressed with gzip. It does not
seem to be the case for some time. With sizes like
37M 0dc08d372184e56c71a32b6abbd6fbdd8eedfd3d-primary.sqlite
65M b860206f9cc245151e10625c725c8c2eb0145c31-filelists.sqlite
this makes a substantial difference on slower connections and not
everybody has T1. A disk space starts to add up too. Was this
change deliberate? Even a default gzip compression shaves between
70 and 80 percent of these.

Audio dropping out in F10 beta
by Jonathan Roberts
Hi all,
I'm on a fully updated rawhide system and sound keeps dropping out at
random intervals, usually occurring after playing audio for around
30-40 minutes from a single application. Seems to start working again
if you restart the app (which seems to hang) or start using a
different app.
I've got my lspci output, as well as some output after launching
rhythmbox from the command line at the time of a crash. Is this
information enough for a bug report, or is there more information that
would be useful?

PackageKit hangs
by Christopher D. Stover
I'm having troubles with PackageKit sometimes. If I enable a repo that it can't connect to, such as trying to connect to the new RPM Fusion Free Testing, it just sits there and says "Enabling Repository (Waiting for other tasks)" but there's no other tasks. I also can't cancel it so it's like there's no time out for it trying to connect or something. Anyone else experience any issues like this?

Problems with Today's Rawhide
by Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX
I upgraded a working Rawhide partition and also did a fresh
install on another partition, both on the MSI p43ne03 and
Core Duo.
1. No echo on console tty login (both partitions)
2. Xlinrad now segfaults when attempting to access the sound system.
Recompiling it didn't help.
3. Add/remove software can't find its repository.
4. Firstrun after install script crashes attempting to add user.
5. http://lwn.net gets my local web site instead of lwn.net.
Windows Firefox on the same machine works normally.
