Hello all,
I would like to request feedback on the newly updated Layered
Image Build Service change[0]. This was something we originally
targeted for Fedora 23 but based on some rapidly changing components
from various upstream projects this Change relies upon, we just
couldn't get it done. These components have settled and are
stabilizing so we believe that Fedora 24 time-frame is a realistic
target.
There is now an updated overview diagram as well as a set of defined
functional requirements[1]. Some of the technical details are still
being evaluated such as how to handle Dockerfiles in DistGit, which is
currently being discussed on devel list[2].
One thing to note is that as technical solution exploration for
certain items produces decisions, the RACI matrix is subject change.
I would appreciate feedback.
Thank you,
-AdamM

Couple notes:
* with recent change in bundling it should be okay to package openshift v3 with
bundling exception, right?
* what registry will be picked?
* are you planning to deliver images to docker hub too?
