Bug ID: 2271821 Summary: perl-DBD-MySQL: improper use of the %{eln} macro Product: Fedora Version: rawhide OS: Linux Status: NEW Component: perl-DBD-MySQL Severity: medium Assignee: jplesnik@redhat.com Reporter: sgallagh@redhat.com QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: jplesnik@redhat.com, kasal@ucw.cz, mschorm@redhat.com, mspacek@redhat.com, perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org, rhughes@redhat.com, rstrode@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora
The spec file is using the %{eln} macro, which is restricted to approval[1] by the ELN SIG.
In this case, it looks like the %{eln} macro was being used to guard around a now-obsolete distinction between community-mysql and mysql.
Please correct this usage or open a ticket with the ELN SIG justifying why ELN and RHEL/CentOS Stream need to differ here.
[1] See ELN FAQ question "When should I use the rpm macro %{eln}?" at https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/eln/faq/
Reproducible: Always
