Bug ID: 1731718
Summary: perl-Convert-Color depends on files/directories from
non-standard locations
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Status: NEW
Component: perl-Convert-Color

Reporter: i.gnatenko.brain(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org

Blocks: 1731683
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Hello,
Fedora Packaging Guidelines allow dependencies only on files/directories from
/usr/bin, /usr/sbin and /etc directories[0].
Your package depends on files/directories outside of those. See below for more
information about package/dependencies.
---
perl-Convert-Color-0.11-16.fc31.src:
- /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt
---
Please correct those or provide reason why is it correct.
It is very important to not download huge filelists.xml just because few
packages in distribution depend on non-standard paths.
Thanks for cooperation!

[Bug 2260478] New: Retiring perl-Test-Vars
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2260478
Bug ID: 2260478
Summary: Retiring perl-Test-Vars
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: perl-Code-TidyAll-Plugin-Test-Vars
Severity: medium
Assignee: rc040203(a)freenet.de
Reporter: paul(a)city-fan.org
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: perl-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
rc040203(a)freenet.de
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
The perl-Test-Vars package is FTBFS with Perl 5.38 and I intend to retire it
soon since there has been no activity on this upstream for many months and I
can't fix it myself.
Since perl-Code-TidyAll-Plugin-Test-Vars is pointless without Test::Vars, you
might want to consider retiring that package too. Alternatively, I can hand
over the perl-Test-Vars package to you and you can try to fix it/get it fixed
yourself.
Please let me know your preference.
In the meantime I'm working to get the other dependants of perl-Test-Vars to
drop the dependency in Rawhide.
Reproducible: Always
