I was going to mail about this this morning anyway.

OK there are some other things which I'll list at the bottom here
The synaptics package wont compile with the XFree86-SDK. Paul
Nasrat has worked on this but never sent me a patch that cleanly
applies to the current Fedora rpm, and cleanly compiles. (the
last patch applied but didn't compile).
Apologies once more.
OK you need to drop the patches currently in the spec: 9133/9134 I'm going to
spend time on SDK for 4.4 and HEAD but
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=99351#c35
I will resync with rawhide src.rpm now and I'll ensure the patch that has gone
into HEAD will
1) Cleanly apply
2) Cleanly compile (apologies for braindead typo).
I might also then add the synaptics package also, but that's
something I'd need to review first before commiting to it.
Indeed. Other things that need to be done for fc2 test2 timescale *if*
synaptics gets in:
1) autoload evdev
2) generate appropriate config
Other solution is to ensure that the mouse driver only probes up to imps.
My bandwidth out of work is limited atm and will be so for at least two weeks
- so I'll try and co-ordinate.
