Could we please have a summary that contains at least some generally used
terms such as "flash storage devices" or "discarding unused blocks"?
Because for users not familiar with fstrim, this summary translates to:
"Enabling something will cause something to execute weekly which in turn
executes something."
+1, for example:
Enabling fstrim.timer will cause fstrim to execute weekly. fstrim is
used on a mounted filesystem to trim blocks which are not in use by
the filesystem. This is useful for solid-state drives (SSDs) and
thinly-provisioned storage.
