You make it sound like the builds were submitted to a side tag but since it did
not yet exist, they accidentally slipped trough into rawhide. As far as I
understand how things work, that does not sound realistic. What actually
happened here? There was no rawhide side tag yet, so the maintainers have made
a choice to build the updated packages in rawhide directly?
I am not asking to point fingers, but I'd like to ensure that whoever have made
this decision will know better the next time, so we can avoid this kind of a
problem in the future.
Yes, that's basically what happened. We've already talked about it on
IRC so I didn't see the point in throwing anybody under any buses.
