As far as I understand, this is going to affect how other packages are built,
installed, and run. It should be reviewed by the affected parties to decide
whether it is a self-contained or system-wide change and the respective
process should be followed.

It would be better to create a Copr for testing purposes to avoid disruption
of Fedora development.
+1 (or a tag). Lots of stuff hangs off of ghostscript. It'd be nice to
have the implications of this at least broadly figured out in advance
rather than "doing it live" in Rawhide.
