If you're not, then what are KDE users supposed to use?
NetworkManager-gnome, aka nm-applet, is the only viable option atm. The
knetworkmanager package in F8 is currently nothing more than a shell for
using nm-applet. When/if knetworkmanager works again, an upgrade path back
to using the real deal is possible.
