Hi Kevin,
I know you applied an opt-out to the package. I think that's totally OK:
it is pretty clear at this point that not all packages will be built
with the note, but partial coverage is also useful.
In the longer term, we'll see if gold can be tweaked to support the
necessary features, or maybe qt5-webengine will switch to bfd. But
there should be no hurry with this. Right now we have a few thousand
packages with the note, so we'll be concentrating on improving the
support in tools using the note.
We literally haven't branched Rawhide for F36, there's still
time for
the proposers to fix it.
