Agreed. I'm doing that myself. However, I believe it is
"ship-in-the-night", i.e. NM knows nothing of the IPv6 auto-configured
and link-local addresses. And then there's DHCPv6 and static
addressing support which is needed.
Yes, Dave Cantrell and I have already worked on that but the support
wasn't finished for 0.7/F10. It's targeted for the next version of NM
and _must_ be present by F11.
