Yes. But standards are a great thing, and yum is good, on its way to
greatness. All it really needs (imo...) is a good gui and some speedup.
speedup? Have you tried yum from rawhide? the sqlite backend makes
things REALLY light memory-wise and once you do the first cache of the
metadata the run time speed is fantastic.
