The timing was certainly not ideal, due to the fact that we didn't have
Dan fulltime until late in the cycle. But realistically, what is the
alternative ? Unless we want to always do the hard work, and then let
Ubuntu and others ship it first...
Since when do we care about who ships what first? Are we going to
begin emulating the commercial software world where it is more
important to ship broken half-baked stuff first so we can beat
everyone else in the industry, rather than waiting until something is
really ready before shipping it?
